Anthony Lemme on saying ‘yes’ & permission

‘Your place
is not
to tell yourself
no;
your place
is to say
yes
and then
find a way.
Whatever it is,
it doesn’t need
to be perfect,
it doesn’t need
to be fancy,
it doesn’t need
to be big.
It just needs
a beginning
beyond dwelling
as an idea
in that
beautiful,
brilliant,
ridiculous
mind
of yours;
or a desire
in your
equally beautiful,
gigantic,
love-gushing
heart.
And please remember,
once things
start moving,
there is
no failure;
there is
only feedback
and course correction.
If you are
waiting for someone
to give you permission,
or for conditions
to be just right
to do
or create
what you want
in life,
you may
be waiting
a LONG ass time.
YOU
are the one
who must give
YOURSELF
permission
and NOW
is the only
time
that is real.
And if you
REALLY
want or need it,
consider this
your permission.
Just be advised,
that I have
no formal training,
have not attended
any transformational, permission-giving workshops,
nor have I
received transmission from
a permission-giving
shaman
or rinpoche
I’m a
totally unlicensed,
completely uncertified,
entirely self-taught,
100% rogue,
permission-giver
from the streets.
An’ shit.’
