What it’s like to be intersex – BuzzFeed Video

Four beautiful young people talking about finding their ways into their authentic being and senses of identity – despite what sound like sometimes brutal experiences of coercive external locus, other people’s assumptions, and aloneness. Brief, moving insight into the experience of being one of the 1 in 2,000 of us born intersex – which from the comments was clearly just a word before, or not even that, to many seeing the film. Many thanks to Saifa and the other three for their willingness to share their experiences, in the interests of other intersex people, and educating the rest of us….
