He’s right. It doesn’t matter what we call it – we have a need for our own and each other’s authentic presence, to be witnessed and received, just where we are, just as we are. In our living and in our dying. And we have created a culture that for the most part does not teach, support or value this, and accepts, even promotes, a ‘safe’, ‘professional’ presentation of this in place of the real, raw, human thing.
