Slomo: The Man Who Skated Right Off The Grid

Thank you, Monica, for putting us onto this:-

Began watching yesterday ‘just for a couple of minutes’, mesmerized until the end (only 16/17 minutes, and they are fascinating).

Like Monica, we enjoyed his line: ‘I’m just trying to get to the end of my life without becoming an asshole again’. Reckon he’ll make it.

There is something moving, inspiring and encouraging about his choice to turn his back on a well-paid job in medicine, a mansion and a ferrari – to follow his own threads of authenticity, and take wing…..

Raises the question: what would this look like, translated into You?
